The mutiny resulted in Chale's power going stronger resulting in Rickey's elimination. An opportunity for any tribe member to mutiny and join the other tribe was taken by Rachel and Tony to join the original Chale members while Rickey Meza and Shea Forbes also took the chance to flip. An idol play by Aleiah Perkins allowed for the first Nati member to go home. In back and forth wins between the tribes, all the tribes exclude Chale members: Andy Jamison, Chris Merchant, Devi Patil, Rachel Barr, and Tony Canales gained control of the game. On Day 10, Kontan and Nati tribes were dissolved the players were distributed between Chale and Lapli. With Kontan and Lapli proving to be the weaker tribes, they went to two tribal councils whereas Chale and Nati avoided tribal council. The 20 players were divided into four tribes of five for a second season.
